We love the penthouses (what else!) with private rooftop pools overlooking the ocean. The garden suites are gorgeous, with tropical planting on the private terraces, while some of the beachfront studios have that essential holiday accessory – a plunge pool. Some real thought and effort has gone into every aspect of Beach Suites. Artwork by Delvene’s sister, Raylee Delaney, decorates the walls. The furniture and fittings are understated luxe, including lights made from silk cocoons and an Aboriginal fish trap. There’s full Wi-Fi and TV access, but really, that would be a waste! Byron’s famous main beach is just a step across the sand, while its restaurants, shops and bars are minutes away.
